The friend I blogged about in this post realized I was gay recently. I was lying in bed when I got the following text:
"When did you come out of the closet? And why didn't you tell me? I'm your biggest supporter!"
We had a flurry of texts about why I didn't come out to him sooner (didn't want it to affect our working relationship) and also about how he always had me pegged, but thought I was just being asexual due to my "Mormon upbringing." IMO the whole asexual thing can only last so long.

Heh. I got a text at 2:50 one morning from a friend's wife: "I'm offended you never came out to me!"
I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. ;-)
